Hi, I'm Kathryn.

I’m a mum of two girls, living in the Blue Mountains of Australia. Walking and reading are my favourite things to do, and I would never pass up on board games and card games. Dutch Blitz is my favourite.

I am a freelance developmental editor who is a little bit addicted to running giveaways for free feedback. Every month, through my newsletter, I giveaway 10,000 words of macro developmental feedback. I also offer a free first chapter edit for all subscribers, regardless of whether you’re looking to hire someone or just have some extra eyes on your first chapter. 

I work with all authors, both those querying and self-publishing. Romance is my most worked on genre, but there are only a few genres I won’t take on. I write across genres myself (YA contemporary, women’s fiction, thrillers, and romance) and know how long and gruelling the process to publishing is. 

I believe a lot of luck is involved in finding the right people to support our work as writers, and I’m passionate about becoming a pivotal person in more authors’ careers. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English with a sub-major in Linguistics. During my study I spent a semester in each Canada and England. Travelling is a huge joy of mine. I’ve visited the US and Canada as well as the UK and Europe, plus New Zealand, and lots of travel around Australia.
